Printable travel bingo

Slept on a beach, pushed your bike up a pass, saw the Milky Way with the naked eye: turn your next trip into a game. Pick a category, roll a card, tweak the squares – and tick off what you experience. Free; to share, print or save it as an image, just join our waitlist once.

The bingo generator needs JavaScript. You'll find ideas to copy further down.

Your card is saved in your browser. The share link contains the whole card – nothing is sent to us.

How to play travel bingo

  1. Choose a category and size

Camping, cycle touring, hiking, road trip or world travel – 3×3 for a weekend, 4×4 for a week, or classic 5×5 with a free centre square for the big tour.

  2. Tweak the squares

Under “Edit squares” you can change any text or re-roll individual squares. If something doesn't fit your route, write in your own goal.

  3. Print it or take it on your phone

Print the card, save it as an image or send yourself the link – join the waitlist once and everything is unlocked. Ticking off works right in your browser, on the road too.

  4. Bingo!

A full row, column or diagonal is a bingo. Travelling with others? Play against each other – or together on one card.

Tips for a good bingo card

  • Mix easy and hard: a few squares that are almost guaranteed (“Coffee on the camping stove”) and a few you'll still be talking about years later.
  • Match your route: riding along the coast? You won't need a glacier. A square for the place you're most looking forward to makes the card personal.
  • Play together: everyone gets their own card in the same category – first to complete a row picks the campsite.
  • Keep the stories: every ticked square comes with a story. Write the best ones down in your travel journal.

Travel bingo FAQ

What is travel bingo?

A bingo card with experiences instead of numbers: tick off squares like “Slept on a beach” or “Fixed a flat” as they happen. A full row, column or diagonal is a bingo.

Does the bingo generator cost anything?

No. Create, edit and tick off cards as often as you like without signing up. To share, print or save a card as an image, join the Travelblogs waitlist once with your email address – after that everything is unlocked. You can unsubscribe anytime.

Can I edit the squares myself?

Yes. Under “Edit squares” you can change any text, give the card your own title or re-roll individual squares. Changes are saved in your browser and included in the share link.

How do I print the bingo card?

“Print / PDF” opens your browser's print dialog, where you can also choose “Save as PDF”. Only the card is printed. Or save it as a PNG via “Save as image”. The first time, you'll join the waitlist.

Which categories are there?

Camping and outdoors, cycle touring and bikepacking, hiking and long-distance trails, road trips and van life, and world travel and backpacking – with around 30 squares each.

Are my cards stored anywhere?

Only in your own browser. The share link contains the whole card; anyone opening it sees it without it being stored with us.

And where do you tell the stories?

On your own travel blog – with a map of your real route and stats on kilometres, climbing and rainy days. Travelblogs is launching soon. Sign up and we'll let you know.

By signing up you agree to be notified by email when we launch (privacy policy, in German). Unsubscribe anytime.
